Our approach to beauty is, and has always been, radically different.

We’ve always strived to create positive change and we are still on that journey, for you, for communities and for our planet. We are working continuously to make a positive systemic impact, across society, within beauty culture and right into the corridors of power.

We create products and beauty routines made for everybody – that help make people feel good in their skin.

We create safe formulas that respect your skin and do what they say they do.

Our products offer your skin robust protection, moisturisation and relief, like our Hemp Hand Protector…while our hemp crop also helps provide a habitat for local wildlife in France. So, it’s good for you. Without compromise.

We are part of a global community of certified B Corps who contribute to a bold vision of sustainability, inclusivity, and regeneration. We use sustainably sourced, natural ingredients and ingredients of natural origin wherever possible. And we are working towards using natural ingredients based on regenerative farming.

We started campaigning to ban animal testing in 1989. We were the first global cosmetics company to do so. The originals. By the end of 2023, our ambition is to ensure all our products are certified by The Vegan Society*. By then 100% of our products will contain no animal-derived ingredients. And no animals are harmed at any stage of development or manufacturing.

Our ethical sourcing means we take a holistic approach to addressing all forms of exploitation, continuously reviewing potential risks and reflecting best practice.

And we continue to lead best practice in our ground-breaking Community Fair Trade programme, through applying a more consistent approach to fair pricing.

Changemakers who work to create a world where nobody wants to, or believes we need to, experiment on animals. They’re our partners in the good, ongoing and winnable fight against animal testing.
